Peter Schmitt is a software engineer in the High Altitude Observatory of the National Center for Atmospheric Research. He received his master's degree in Applied Mathematics in 2007 from the University of Colorado at Boulder. Peter writes code, documentation, and aides in validation and visualization for a Coupled Magnetosphere-Ionosphere-Thermosphere model (CMIT).
