3D Vector Field
In this section you'll use "Streamline" to explore the dipole magnetic
field. You'll begin by penning the
/usr/local/swss/Lab7/nets/3DVector.net. This network uses the
IGRF Dipole module to create a dipole magnetic field on a spherical
grid. The SPTransform moves this dipole magnetic field from the
GSM coordinate system into the MAG coordinate system.
Use the "Streamline" module and "Pick" module to trace out the
dipole field lines. The first thing you'll notice is that you'll
only get half the magnetic field line. Why?
